HBK enforces mandatory inspection gates at 12 critical production and installation checkpoints. Third-party verification by Bureau Veritas (BV) is available on request.

Mill test certificates checked against EN 10025, GB/T 700, ASTM A36. Dimensional verification with calibrated instruments.

Ultrasonic Plate Inspection

UT lamination check on all base plates and heavy-gauge sections per BS EN 10160 Level S1.

Fabrication

Cut Length & Profile Tolerance

CNC cutting records verified against shop drawings. Length tolerance ±1 mm, angle tolerance ±0.5°.

Fabrication

Fit-Up & Pre-Weld Check

Root gap, joint alignment, and tack weld pattern inspected before full welding commences.

Welding

Welder Qualification

All welders hold current AWS D1.1 or GB/T 19869 certification. Procedure qualification records (PQR) on file.

Visual Weld Inspection (VT)

100% visual check of completed welds per AWS D1.1 Clause 6. Non-conformances documented and repaired.

NDT

Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

Full-penetration butt welds on primary members tested per ASME V / AWS D1.1. Minimum 20% on secondary members.

NDT

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

Surface-breaking and near-surface flaw detection on T-joints and pipe-to-gusset connections.

Coating

Dry Film Thickness (DFT)

DFT measured per SSPC-PA2 across 100% of painted surface area. Minimum system DFT verified.

Assembly

Trial Assembly Check

Critical splice joints and large modules pre-assembled in workshop to verify dimensional accuracy before dispatch.

Dispatch

Pre-Shipment Inspection

Quantity count, member marking, packing integrity, and rust-inhibitor application verified against packing list.

On-Site

Installation Milestone Inspection

Foundation anchor bolt check, column plumb, truss alignment, and final roof level survey at each erection phase.
